well, got out of work at about 11:15 and it was 85 degrees. met sue at the house, gathered up our gear, jumped in the car, and hit cranmore. hiked right up the gut, with me in ski boots boot-packing and sue in snowshoes.
we reached the top and chilled out on the peak deck for about 25 minutes in the breeze and sunshine, then i put my skis on and linked turns all the way to the bottom in shorts and no sleeves... and when sue got far behind i'd hike back up to her so i could make more turns! just an awesome day.
then we went to moat, had some beers, then went home and grilled porterhouse steaks. what a damned perfect day!
glad to hear that, bub. rode my road bike into work today from where i'm housesitting in a consistent, unrelenting 25-mile-an-hour headwind. not a breath of tailwind. stinky...
actually, no, because i had no idea that the wind was going to just continue to whale me back constantly... it was sort of annoying - no matter which way the road bent, that wind was coming straight at my face.

at least it is nice enough to ride in. could be worse.
i can't tell you how hard it was riding through that wind, though! it was really, really difficult. probably added seven minutes of ride time.
of course being the pratical person you are, you bugeted extra time this morning, allowing you to arrive a work on time.
i'm back from my meeting
what's up
welcome back. how did the meeting go? by the way how is the job hunt going?
actually, no, because i had no idea that the wind was going to just continue to whale me back constantly... it was sort of annoying - no matter which way the road bent, that wind was coming straight at my face.

wow, that is not usually something that happens to you buddy. that more like something that would happen to me.
that is slightly more typical of your luck, isn't it?
well, it did make for a good workout...
it was just the daily meeting.
Still waiting on leads or interviews.... kinda depressing actually
That sucks about the wind! Hopefully on the way home it will be at your back!
actually, the bike's staying here for a couple of days. i have rugby practice tonight.
what how are you getting to practice?
we left my car at our apartment last night.
i like those inclusive words like we are our.
I think I have the quote of the day...
One of my co-workers asking about the non-bofriend and when he was going to Iraq. SO I'm like twoish weeks... and this was his response:
"And still no clue that the great threat to his happiness is not the dangers of Baghdad but the male population of Boston pursuing his girl...."
ah, the threat at home. well at least there are compliments at work
most of my co workers like me
how is everyones afternoon going? it seems to be dragging here.
