THE WORD OF THE DAY IS JOB
i have been offered a job with a group of plumbers. it is close to home and they are going to pay me what i get here. it is right near the Kilt, 10 min commute. basically it is costing items and making sure that material gets to jobsites on time either from vendors or our warehouse. easy stuff. less hours much less driving and saving a ton on gas and tolls. there is room to grow and move up too. full bennies the whole deal!

so you're saving dough on the commute, saving your mind by not driving over the tappan zee every day and getting paid the same? SCORE!
what's the catch? do you have to join a union or something? tell me it's nothing but all good!

nope the usual hours are 8:30 to 4:30. and as far as i can see there is no real downside. but there is always a catch. i just have to find it.
well, don't look too hard...you know, gift horse in the mouth and all that.
i just got my backround check on them too. they are on the up and up.

seriously. it is not good for your image. then they may ask questions that you dont want to have asked.
but if you hold out too long they may offer it to someone else....
i just had the interview at 6:30 last night. i had to do some research before committing.

there are some kind of sensative issues that i wanted to work out first. one being that my land lord works for them. also the two guys used to work for brennan brothers, the guys kevin works for. now that i know they are on the up and up i will call them.
i guess that is ok ....
i dont see a reason to leap before i look a little. i think that it will work out fine.
so what else is good out there in the world today?
My day has been spent trying to work an excel spreadsheet, explain to someone why "if only" isn't really if only I was just being nice to hm and track down where the non-boyfriend is.
